Webinar on Section 508 Basic Authoring and Testing Guide MS Word 2010 - 6/4/2015

Time: 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. EST ED requires that all products developed with RSA funding be Section 508 accessible. RSA is pleased to offer the first of a series of webinars on making and testing products to meet Section 508 standards. ED’s accessibility team is collaborating with other Federal agencies in the Accessible Electronic Document Community of Practice (AED COP), which has developed resources to teach individuals how to make documents accessible for persons with disabilities. Follow along as the presenters demonstrate, in real time, the minimum steps required to create an accessible MS Word document, compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended. Learn how to: • Author accessible Word documents • Identify inaccessible content • Identify accessible content Participants are encouraged to review the “Section 508 Authoring and Testing Guide MS Word 2010” prior to the webinar.
